Buy Jio Phone for only Rs 699

Reliance Jio's affordable smart feature phone Jio Phone will be sold for 699 rupees in this festive season. Reliance Jio gave this information in a press release on Tuesday. Jio Phone was launched in July 2017 for Rs 1,500. Last month, an exchange offer was announced with this phone, after which the effective price of the handset was Rs 501. However, now the telecom company has announced that the Jio phone can be purchased for just Rs 699. This price of the phone is part of the "Jio Phone Diwali 2019" offer.

Jio Phone price in India, special offers

Under the Jio Phone Diwali 2019 offer, the price of Jio Phone has been fixed at Rs 699. Customers will get a benefit of Rs 700 by charging a Jio phone from Reliance Jio. Customers will have to recharge the first seven for additional data. After this, the company will add data of Rs 99 to the account.

Reliance Jio has told Gadgets 360 that the new offer will be available from October 4.

Jio Phone Specifications

A sim geophone has a 2.4-inch QWVGA (240x320 pixels) display. It uses a 1.2 GHz Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A / QC8905 dual core processor. Mali-400 GPU is integrated. It also has 512 MB RAM. Inbuilt storage is 4 GB and you will be able to use MicroSD card up to 128 GB.


There is a 2 megapixel camera on the back side. And there is a VGA camera on the front panel. The battery of the Jio phone is 2000 mAh. It has been claimed to have talk time of up to 12 hours and standby time of up to 15 days. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, FM radio, GPS and USB 2.0 support.
