Samsung Galaxy M20

Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M30 are reported to receive One UI 2 update based on Android 10 in India. It is worth noting that just a few days ago the South Korean company released the Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10 series in India. Remember that Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M30 budget smartphones were launched in the market this year only. On the basis of these phones, Xiaomi wanted to challenge brands like Asus and Xiaomi in the market. Both smartphones were launched with Android 8.1 Oreo. But in June, Samsung released a One UI update based on Android Pie for these phones.

The Android 10 update released for Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M30 also brings with it the security patch of December 2019. This information is given in the report of SamMobile. The update brings with it One UI 2.0 which was first released by Samsung for the flagship model. The company's own user interface also brings some custom features apart from Android 10. These handsets are set to get system wide dark mode and full-screen gestures.

The software version of the update that Samsung Galaxy M20 received is M205FDDU3CSL4. At the same time, Samsung Galaxy M30's version number is M305FDDU3CSL4. The update appears to have been released in India only.

If your Samsung Galaxy M20 or Galaxy M30 has not received this update, then you can check it by going to Settings> Software update and tapping Download and install option.

Remember that Samsung started the One UI 2.0 Beta Program in October. The testing was currently underway to rollout Android 10 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. The phones of this series have received this update.

According to the Android 10 roadmap given in the Samsung Members app, the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 were to receive this update by January. But Samsung has already rolled out this update before the deadline.
