Nokia 3 is getting Android Pie Update

HMD Global has always been stubborn on one of its promises. It is a promise that Nokia's brand of smartphones should regularly update software. The company had already said that its smartphone will come with a guarantee of security patches for up to three years and two major Android OS updates. It is not that this claim is only for mid-range Nokia phones. The company's most affordable Nokia phone also comes with latest Android. Now the company has released an update for the Nokia two-year-old Nokia 3 smartphone.

According to a tweet from Jawo Sawikikas, chief product officer of HMD Global, Nokia 3, running the Android One program, launched in 2017, has started receiving Android 9.0 Pie update. He has also said that the company has been on the promise of providing Android updates for two years.

With the update of Android 9.0 Pie, Nokia 3 has got many new features that come with this Android version. According to the screenshot of the changes shared by the Nokia 3 user, the update comes with new system navigation, rewapped settings and notifications, adaptive batteries, adaptive batteries, adaptive brightness and the Android security patches in May.

Android 9 Pie Update Over the Air is being released for Nokia 3. In the coming days, every device will get this update.
