Honor has launched two new Android tablets in the Indian market. The new Honor Pad 5 (8-inch) and Honor Pad 5 (10.1 inches) are designed for media entertainment. Both of these will be available for tablet customers from next month. They come with full-HD screens and dual stereo speakers. Keeping in mind the children and youth in the new Honor tablet, many features have been given. In addition to these tablets, the company has also launched Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20i in the market.
Honor Pad 5 (8 inch), Honor Pad 5 (10.1 inch) price in India
According to Honor India, there will be two versions of the 8-inch variant of Honor Pad 5-3GB RAM + 32GB Storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage. The same variants will be of 10.1-inch Honor Pad 5 models too. The 8-inch 3 GB RAM variant of Honor Pad 5 will be sold for Rs 15,499 and 4GB RAM variants for Rs 17,499. The 3 GB and 4GB RAM variants of the 10.1-inch model of Honor Pad 5 are sold for Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively.
Both the Honor tablet will be on Flipkart from July. Both tablets will be sold in Glacier Blue color.
Honor Pad 5 (8 inch) specification
Honor Pad 5 (8 inch) runs on Magic UI 2.0 based on Android 9 pie. It has an 8-inch full-HD (1920x1200 pixels) screen. It runs on the Haciilikon Kirin 710 processor and will come with 4 GB RAM. Tablet's inbuilt storage is up to 64 GB and supports up to 512 GB MicroSD cards.
The 8-megapixel cameras are provided on the front and back panel of this tablet. The rear camera comes with autofocus, while the front camera is a fixed focus. Apart from this, the tablet is equipped with dual stereo speakers. It has support for Dolby Atomas. Connectivity features such as voice calling support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS have been provided.
Honor Pad 5 (10.1 inch) specification
The 10.1-inch model of Honor Pad 5 runs on the EMUI 8.0 based on Android Orio. It has a 10.1-inch full-HD (1920x1200 pixels) display. It is equipped with a Haikilikon Kirin 659 processor and 4 GB RAM.
Talking about other specifications, the 10.1-inch version of Honor Pad 5 comes with 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera and 2 megapixel fixed focus selfie sensor. Inbuilt storage up to 64 GB It is possible to use a MicroSD card up to 256 GB if needed.
Harman Cardin Audio Dual Stereo speakers equipped with audio tuning. The tablet also has a fingerprint sensor. Features like 4G LTE, Voice Calling, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are part of the 10.1-inch model.
